Ms. Pfautz began working with this 25-year old firm ten years ago when they had just 8 employees; in 2006 there were over 50 employees. Services over the years have included employee handbook development and revisions, job description creation and updates, employee training on a variety of topics, management development training, creating a performance management process and relevant appraisal forms, and conducting annual employee file audits. Ms. Pfautz, now C.H.A.R.T. Consulting, continues working with the company on-site one day per week as their on-call Director of Human Resources.
In October 2004 C.H.A.R.T. Consulting conducted and employee attitude survey and began addressing issues raised as a result. Since that time, C.H.A.R.T. Consulting has served this 9-employee corporate credit union as their Human Resources director, developing job descriptions, providing guidance on process improvement and downsizing activities, creating a succession plan, launching a job rotation/cross training program, formulating a performance management program, and recruiting and staffing.
During a transition in the human resources area, C.H.A.R.T. Consulting was asked to complete a compliance assessment for this 250-employee non-profit organization, providing recommendations for process improvement and policy and practice updates. C.H.A.R.T. Consulting additionally conducted a Sexual Harassment Awareness training session for managers.
This 12-person not-for-profit organization contracted with C.H.A.R.T. Consulting to complete a compliance assessment, re-write the employee handbook, develop job descriptions, and act as their on-call human resource expert on an on-going basis.
C.H.A.R.T. Consulting was initially hired to review and update the employee handbook for this 50-employee non-profit organization. Since that time a compliance assessment has been completed and the employment application revamped. In addition to being the organization's on-call human resource expert, future projects include delivering a recruiting, interviewing, and hiring training program for managers, updating position descriptions, and developing an effective performance management program.
In addition to reviewing and editing the employee handbook, C.H.A.R.T. Consulting has conducted a benefit survey and proposed modifications to the current insurance and pad time off benefit offerings of this 15-employee bank.
