In 1994 Nadine F. Pfautz, SPHR began providing part-time human resource consulting services to small businesses while employed full-time as Director of Human Resources at a college and then at a Bank. Ten years later Ms. Pfautz chose to expand her practice into a full-time venture designed to assist small businesses who typically have less knowledgeable and/or experienced staff handling the human resource management function.
Ms. Pfautz has demonstrated her expertise in the core principles of HR practices and the application of those principles, resulting in her designation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
In addition to her human resource expertise, Ms. Pfautz has more than 15 years experience as an adjunct professor and instructor teaching both credit and non-credit courses and seminars in Human Resource Management, Principles of Management, Legal Issues in Hiring, Effective Discipline and Termination, Performance Appraisals, Effective Communication, and other related topics.
Active in the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Pfautz has served on the Governing Body of the ATHENAPowerLink® program, sponsored by the Women's Business Connection, and as the Chair of both the Committee for Small Business and the Human Resource Group Advisory Board.
She continues to serve the business community as a member of the Chamber's Human Resource Group Advisory Board. Nadine is a Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Quincy and a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
